We decided to go to the pumpkin farm as a family but Leah just couldn't deal with the surprise outing. She and Dave decided to stay home and watch the Packers trounce the Lions. I took Mary and Matthew to check out a pumpkin farm/petting zoo that was a total disappointment so we decided to head over to the Elegant Farmer for a hayride. The first stop on the hayride is apple picking and then on to the pumpkin field. I hadn't planned on picking apples but Mary wanted to do it so we hopped off the hayride and grabbed a basket. She had a great time picking apples off the trees. We made baked apples for desert and they were delicious!
